My mechanic couldn'#039t see my car until the New Year and I'#039ve had to use the it a couple of times for short trips - still no issues with the way it drives. Anyway, the warning has just gone out on its own Could it have been fuel related? I question it because a few days before the warning came on I'#039ll filled the tank up from our local Asda, which I never normal

Take power from the reversing light but before you feed that power to the camera, run it through a power stabilizer. Otherwise the image will come out with bad signal. The stabilizer units are mostly made in china, are cheap to get, and from my experience, burn out after about a year so dont worry too much about it'#039s placement. Put it under the plastic trunk lid cover and tie it t

This thread was a big help, so I thought I’d add my info in case it helps anyone else. nbsp Finally completed my retrofit. Main issue I ran into is a lack of coding info, and the fact that some airbags have 2 ground points and some have 3. nbsp This is for a 3 point airbag. nbsp

Brembo used to be a decent brand until the pads started to be produced by the chinese fuf knows who makes the discs One things for certain they love to rust
Interesting, and a shame at the same time. Drags the brand down. Brembo once the go-to for brakes.

Slow progress so far. UK sill covers I ordered on eBay were non-OEM and are thin grey smooth plastic type that need priming then top/final coat - my fault, I should have checked first. Taking the hit and return posting these.
The LLL part recommended earlier, when I checked availability, replied back to say part # 1K4 853 859 B 9B9 is no longer supported/offered, which i
Wrong steering module for paddles?

Hi everyone,
I bought myself an mk5 r32 steering wheel with paddles and no MFSW to fit to my mk5 gti which has neither paddles or MFSW at the moment.
Throuhg my research I came to the conclusion that I did not need to replace the steering module as it seemed that as long as you had a dsg installed it was possible to recode the module to accept the paddles. Aft

Don’t like shouting out bad news but you’ve said that it’s been sitting. Maybe rod bearings? I would try dumping a few cans of engine flush additives. Make sure there isn’t a double oring on the oil filter housing.
How would rod bearings be affected from vehicle sitting? Nev

I remember a few years ago reading that what someone had done with theirs after replacing the lumbar support a few times and it repeatedly breaking, they cable tied the two pieces together and it worked well for them. Unfortunately I can't give you any more information because I haven't had one of these seats apart, but I hope that's of some help to you.
